Membership Benefits

Collective Bargaining

The process of negotiation between employers and a group of employees aimed at agreements to regulate salaries, conditions, benefits, and other aspects of workers' compensation and rights for workers.

Health Insurance

Local 372 participates in a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama family policy. These benefits are paid for through collective bargaining. These benefits are of no financial burden to the members of Local Union 372. 

Retirement

Local 372 participates in two pension plans, local and a national plan,  paid for through collective bargaining. The benefits are of no financial burden to the members and provide security at the end of their career.

UNITED ASSOCIATION
The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing, Pipe and Steam Fitting Industry of the United States, Canada,  Australia and Ireland.

SC PIPE TRADES
Representing Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas providing manpower for skilled trades such as: plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, HVAC  sprinkler fitting.

UA VIP
Military, government and UA officials have launched UA VIP as a model in workforce development. A No cost program paid for by the UA and its industry partners.

HELMETS TO HARDHATS
A national, nonprofit program that connects National Guard, Reserve, retired / transitioning active-duty military service members to the trade industry.
